1. An initial consultation to discuss the concept of the portrait either in person or on the telephone. Your envision and many details are valued information for him to arrange photo session, to catch subject’s best moment.

2. Photograph the subject. Existing or professional photographs are valuable references. Prefer to composite from numerous shots. After reviewing, the basic composition of the painting is decided. During breaks, Wang does a color study, sketches of the subject. It serves an entertainment to sitters as well.

3. Prepare three preliminary studies. It is not unusual for Wang to study dozens or more masterpieces to finalize the composition and color scheme. He then confers with the client to select.

4. Create the painting in the studio using the finest materials on premium linen canvas, resulting in a lasting quality portrait. Wang may ask to borrow the items or clothing used in the painting. Estimated delivery time is from eight to twelve months, though some may be ready sooner.

5. Upon completion of the portrait, a 4" x 5" transparency is sent to you for approval and painting delivered. When necessary, a final sitting will be arranged, Wang refines the likeness from life and makes crucial finishing touches. Relatives and friends are welcomed to come to criticize. Satisfaction is guaranteed.
