In its best form, a portrait is a reflection of the spirit and personality
of the subject. A portrait can be a tribute, a celebration, and a remembrance of a life ended or
just beginning. Over the years it has been my privilege to reflect the energy and spirit of many
3, 4 and 5 year olds, of a very young 93 year old who delighted in having her portrait painted, of
past lives in celebration and tribute, of beloved pets, and many others. I look forward to continuing
to reflect the beauty and spirit of the human face in the portrait.
