Following the initial contact and consultation, a photographic sitting is arranged at the client's location. I review the photographs with the client and together we choose the best features, pose, coloring, etc. for the portrait. If a composite of several photographs is used, a drawing will be done to give a clearer idea of how the portrait will look.

A retainer of 1/3 of the total commission is due with the signing of the contract. The balance is due on delivery. A payment schedule can be arranged.

When the portrait is completed, a photograph is sent to the client for review. If touch-ups are needed, they can be done before delivery with the opportunity for additional touch-ups on delivery.

Referrals are available on request.

Fees

These are standard sizes for one subject without background. Backgrounds are additional. For other sizes available in pastel, oil and charcoal, contact the Artist.

More than One Subject
A second subject would be approximately 50% of the portrait cost. Adding a pet, depending on size and detail, would be 15% to 25% of the cost.

Animal Portraits are 50% of the cost.

Other Expenses
Travel and shipping costs are additional. Sales tax is applicable in some states.
