| Zlatina paints commissioned portraits mostly from photos. She doesn't
try to produce exact duplicates of the photographs. Zlatina is interested
in the character, the biography and the emotional life of the person
and she looks for unique ways to express them.
At the initial meeting or by phone/email, the client and Zlatina
will discuss: medium, size of the canvas, clothing, color preferences,
background, atmosphere and lighting. If the client and the artist
meet in person, they will look through Zlatina's portfolio of portraits
and the client will share what he/she likes. Zlatina will paint
the portrait from the client's favorite photograph. She needs professional
or amateur photos of very good quality.
After the client and the artist agree on concept, portrait cost
and the date of delivery, they have to sign a contract - commissioned

The finished portrait is a subject for the client's approval. The
artist will email photo files of the painting.
