PROCEDURE

Christina & Alan - 18" x 24" pastel

Andrea Pejeau, "depicts that moment in a person's life when they have that endless curiosity," says Stephen Doherty, Editor-in-Chief of American Artist magazine. She takes a fresh approach to portraiture which captures the joy of your child's beach experience. Andrea will meet your family at the beach. While you relax in the sun and your child plays, she'll photograph and sketch. In her home studio on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina she interprets these into pencil studies for character and value, and gestural pastel studies for color and movement. You may view the studies at your gallery, or through the mail with photographs of the originals. Select your favorite which Andrea will use to create your family's beach portrait. She sends a photograph of the completed portrait, if any minor alterations are requested these are taken care of before shipping it to the client.

A deposit of 40% will be due in advance. Balance due at completion of commission and acceptance by the client.

*Families who commission Beach Portraits may purchase 9 x12 Beach Studies in pastel for 50% of the published fee schedule at the time the Portrait order is placed with the artist. This limited opportunity is only available at the signing of the Portrait agreement.
